“The implementation of pro-poor rewards or payments for environmental services in Vietnam requires a multi-sector approach,” concluded RUPES researchers in a newsletter recently published by FSSP or Forestry Sector Support Partnership, a government and donor collaboration to provide support to the development of forestry sector in Vietnam.

In her email announcing the publication, Nguyen Bich Hang, the FSSP Communications Officer, said the newsletter provides readers with more understanding on substantial important values of forest environmental services, the role of the government in developing and implementing the policy on payment for forest environmental services (PFES) and valuable experiences from related activities implemented in Vietnam.
